Welcome to Community Rivers
We’re a not-for-profit, community organisation helping to protect Australia's precious rivers, creeks, wetlands, estuaries and bays.
We are owned by people just like you - members of the Australian community - students,
farmers, senior citizens, chemical engineers, council workers and teachers to name just a few.
If you would like to learn more about how Australians are working together, learning new skills, and helping to protect our rivers
and creeks, please take a few moments to have a look around our website - developed by the talented students from RMIT.
Visit our Maps page and find your local creek
If you've been monitoring the health of your local river, creek or wetland, you can enter your data onto this community-owned website and coordinate monitoring activities with other groups across your catchment - plus much, much more…
We hope you might like to join us, but if you're not sure just yet, why not sign up to receive our e-newsletter, or visit our Maps Page to see what's happening at a creek near you.
We hope to meet you soon! - The Community Rivers Team
